Message from the Head

The Governors have, over the years, been determined to take the School forward, to establish an infrastructure, both educationally and financially to ensure that pupils are offered the very best. This is reflected in yet another fine set of GCSE results this year, with some outstanding individual performances.

Our staff is an extremely professional, hard working and talented group of teachers who, once again this year, have been determined to establish quality of teaching, and genuine commitment in all their dealings with pupils of the School.

We strive to maintain a positive attitude in all that we do at W.I.S. Negativism plagues our society, but we believe that when life gives you lemons, make lemonade!

We encourage children to make each day a miniature lifetime in which they achieve and enjoy something, to celebrate themselves, and not just sit back and let life drift by. Squeeze the most out of life; by looking for the miracle in every day, because I assure you, there will always be one.

We ask children to step back sometimes and appreciate the smaller things in life that can make a wonderful whole.
