It's Pantomime Season again! Pupils from the Rectory enjoyed their visit to Wakefield Theatre Royal and Opera House to see Cinderella. This was followed by a picnic lunch, fit for a Prince!

Roman York
Pupils in ll Lower (Year 4) and l Upper (Year 3) spent the day in Roman York and were put through their paces by a Roman Soldier. An unforgettable experience!

Outdoor Pursuits Weekend - Friday May 10th to Sunday May 12th
Pupils with an interest in the great outdoors are invited to attend an Adventure Weekend at Gladstone's Lodge. This is in the Yorkshire Moors between Ingleton and Hawes. Places will be allocated on a first-come,first-served basis.

Preparing for Advent
lV Upper pupils prepared for Advent, which starts this year on Sunday 2nd December 2012, by making Christingles, which are symbolic objects used in Advent Services.

Class Photographs
Photographs were taken today of every pupil in the School in their respective classes. Proofs will be sent to the School within fourteen days and details of how to purchase the photographs in time for Christmas, will be sent to you asap.

Spookley The Square Pumpkin
Spookley made an appearance at the Rectory. His story was told to the children, as they made a superb display with their hand-carved pumpkins, following their fantastic day out at Farmer Copley's Farm.

Holiday Club
Places are available for WIS pupils from FS to Y6 from 8.30 am - 5.00pm/8.30am - 1.00pm in our Holiday Club on the following dates: 21st, 28th December and 3rd January. Final date for reserving a place is 4th Dec.
